Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Vice-President Khudayer al-Khuzai, and Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohamed Jawad Zarif, discussed the recent updates on political arena and the Syrian crisis.
The Republic Presidency reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”During the meeting, Khuzai assured the peaceful fixed stance of Iraq that refuses conducting a military attack against Syria.”
”Khuzai praised the Iraqi diplomatic efforts in preventing the Arab League to adopt any extreme attitudes by promoting positive gestures to solve the crisis in Syria,” the statement added.”The Iranian Foreign Minister praised the efforts exerted by the Iraqi Government to prevent sectarian sedition, ” adding that, noting that ”The Government of Iran support to the national peace document and the charter of national honor which was suggested by the Republic Presidency,” the statement concluded.
