The Emir of Qatar amends the provisions of the anti-terrorism law in his country
Friday, July 21,
issued the Emir of Qatar Tamim Bin Hamad Al - Thani Decree Law No. (11) for the year 2017 amending some provisions of Law No. (3) for the year 2004 on the fight against terrorism.
The Decree-Law included the definition of terrorists, crimes, acts and terrorist entities, the freezing of funds and the financing of terrorism, and the introduction of the national lists of terrorist individuals and entities.
The procedures for listing individuals and entities, indicating the implications thereof, and establishing the right of persons concerned to challenge the decision to be brought before the Court of Cassation.

The Decree-Law decreed its implementation and was to be implemented from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette, according to the Qatari newspaper Al-Arab.
