Oil signed a contract with an Arab company to produce gas cylinders

The Ministry of Oil signed a contract with an Arab company to produce gas cylinders on Sunday, stressing that the cylinders will meet the local needs.

Oil Minister Jabbar Ali al-Allaibi said in a press conference on the sidelines of the signing of the contract and attended by "Economy News" that "the gas filling company of the ministry signed a contract with the Middle East Company to produce gas cylinders and 3000 to 5000 cylinders a day," noting that "the contract will be for 10 Years".

"The production of the cylinders will be in accordance with international and Iraqi standards," he said, adding that "the plant to be built in Basra will meet the local needs of these cylinders, in addition to it will provide hard currency because it will be produced locally instead of importing."
