The Committee on Tourism and Antiquities in the Council of Dhi Qar expressed readiness to issue a comprehensive guide to the Marshlands, archeological sites, heritage and religious shrines.
The Committee is working to activate the proposal to issue a comprehensive guide to the archaeological sites and heritage areas and marshes and religious shrines in the province, similar to the guide to the museum of Nasiriyah, which was issued recently, indicating that the comprehensive guide aims to identify tourists and visitors local, The nature of the marshes, heritage sites, shrines and archaeological sites, especially the city of Ur and Zaqora. She pointed out that the universities of Sumer and Dhi Qar will contribute to the issuance of this guide, which will be issued in Arabic and English to introduce the Sumerian civilization and provide a detailed explanation of the areas of the marshes.
