The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned the attack carried out by "Da'ash" targeting the Iraqi Embassy in central Kabul.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in an official statement that it "condemns in the strongest terms the attack carried out by a target of the Iraqi embassy in the center of Kabul". "Egypt confirms its stand with the government and the people of Iraq in the face of terrorism."
She added that "the attack comes in the wake of successful victories achieved by the brothers in Iraq in the face of the terrorist organization," noting that "this desperate attempt by the organization calling for the terrorist will not weaken the brotherly Iraqi people and his quest for security and stability."
On Monday, Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari praised the position of the Arab Republic of Egypt and its rapid response to the reception of the embassy staff in Kabul, cooperation and diplomatic coordination.
