TEHRAN - President Fuad Masum, speaker of parliament Salim al-Jubouri and National Alliance leader Ammar al-Hakim will visit Tehran on Saturday, the official IRNA news agency reported on Wednesday.
"Iranian Ambassador Erj Musjidi received at the embassy in Baghdad today Speaker of the Parliament Salim al-Jubouri and discussed during the meeting ways of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including the reconstruction phase in Iraq," the agency said.
"The public and private sectors of the Islamic Republic of Iran are ready to come to the reconstruction stage to stand with Iraq and stand by its side in the war on terror," the Iranian ambassador said.
"Both sides discussed bilateral relations as well as the participation of Jubouri in the inauguration ceremony of President Hassan Rowhani on Saturday," he said.
The Iranian agency said that "the ceremony is scheduled to take part in this ceremony many senior officials from different countries of the world, including from Iraq, President Fuad Masum, Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri and President of the National Alliance Ammar al-Hakim."
