Iraq demands Turkey debts before 2003

The Minister of Industry and Minerals Agency Mohamed Shayaa Sudanese, Tuesday, Turkey settled the file of previous contracts before 2003 under the Iraqi-Turkish agreement and the launch of the amounts estimated at 100 million dollars.
"The Minister of Industry and Minerals Mohammad Shayya al-Sudani discussed during his meeting today with Turkish Ambassador to Iraq Fatih Yildiz the development of relations of cooperation between the two countries in various industrial fields and investment opportunities available," the ministry said in a statement.
"Turkey has a successful experience in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises and can use its expertise and capabilities in this field," he said.
Al-Sudani referred to the "rehabilitation project of iron and steel plants, which is implemented by the Turkish company UB Holdenk," noting that "has been a proper settlement of the problem that has been facing the Turkish company since 2012 and return to work efforts and vigorous intervention and continuous follow by his sovereignty and make a pledge to the Council Ministers to complete the project. "
