A member of the Culture and Information Committee in the House of Representatives Haider Mawla said on Wednesday that the problem of changing the Iraqi flag is more political than technical.
Al-Mawla said in a press statement that the current flag of Iraq represents the Arab unity between Iraq, Egypt and Syria, indicating that the former regime added the phrase 'God is greater' in 1990 before the second Gulf War in 1991.
Al-Mawla added that the committee discussed the issue with the specialists of the design owners, but the problem is 'political' always more than technical and technical, suggesting that the quota and the dominance of the blocks reached the Iraqi flag, which represents the sovereignty of the country.
