Washington denies sending tanks to the Kurds Syria
The US embassy in Ankara on Thursday denied Turkish media reports that the United States had sent tanks and hundreds of trucks loaded with weapons into Syria to support Kurdish people's protection units.
In a statement posted on social networking sites, the embassy said the United States had not provided any groups fighting an organization calling for tanks in Syria.
She added that the vast majority of trucks crossing the Iraqi-Syrian border do not carry military equipment or supplies.
