The General Company for Transport Management began implementing the project of regulating the movement of taxi vehicles between Baghdad and the provinces in coordination with the security authorities, while stressing that this project will reduce the traffic momentum in the entrances of the provinces.
The director general of the company under the Ministry of Transport, Qais Salman Hashim al-Miali, in a statement to the "morning", the company has implemented a project to regulate the movement of taxi vehicles between Baghdad and the provinces through coordination with the security authorities to open special corridors in the entrances to the traffic controls of taxis Manfest company, noting that the project has several positive implications on the reality of private transport in the country, including the regulation of the movement of vehicles in general and achieve high flow in the process of private transport.
He added that the project will reduce traffic congestion in the ports of the provinces, and will eliminate the phenomenon of random loading of passengers outside the garages, pointing at the same time that it will ensure justice among the owners of vehicles, through the sequence of loading passengers and not to infringe the right of one.
Al-Mayali said that he will achieve a high cultural attribute that is positively reflected on the reality of transportation in the country in order to match the private transport in the developed countries, pointing out that the company in turn provided statistics and database on the preparation of vehicles registered on each line including the capacity of the vehicle and the model and its compatibility with the conditions of durability, Rest in it.
The director general of the company pointed out that the project will achieve an increase in financial revenues as there will be a leap in the economic reality of the company, which prompts the company to develop its plans through the establishment of model garages in a number of provinces with the development of advanced stations for passenger transport, in addition to creating an environment suitable for owners of
taxis .
He said that the company has prepared a comprehensive and accurate study of the project, especially as it is keen to develop the reality of transport in the country, so as to provide comfort for travelers and to generate new financial revenues
