An oil field engineer in Libya, Monday, produces 270,000 barrels per day, said the field is facing a gradual closure after the closure of a control room in the city of Nawa in northern Libya.
The engineer said, according to "Reuters," that "the field may close after the closure of the control room in the city of Zouk, northern Libya."
The engineer did not give details of why the control room was closed but comments by oil workers on Facebook said it had been attacked by an armed group. There was no comment from Libya's National Oil Corporation, which manages the Sharara field in partnership with Repsol, Total and OMV, And Statoil. Finished
