Launch of the first land convoy for Iraqi pilgrims
BAGHDAD / The Iraqi Hajj Mission announced on Monday the launch of the first land convoy for pilgrims heading to the Holy Land.
A statement of the mission received by "Iraq News", that "the first flights of land convoys to the Holy Land was launched through the port of Arar border."
He added that "the number of pilgrims arriving by air reached 7108 of which 5570 in Medina and 723 in Mecca."
The first flight was launched on August 2 from Baghdad International Airport to the Holy Land with 333 pilgrims on board, preceded by the arrival of a flight to Medina coming from Basra airport. Finished
