    The Ministry of Transport announced on Tuesday the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two countries.
    "The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries today, in the presence of the Chairman of the Saudi General Authority for Civil Aviation Abdul Hakim bin Mohammed Al-Bader Al-Tamimi and the Iraqi Ambassador to the Kingdom," the ministry said in a statement. Saudi Arabia, and the delegations of the two countries. "
    The Director General of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority Hussein Mohsen, according to the statement, that "the meeting was fruitful and resulted in the signing of that memorandum," noting that "under which will increase the number of flights to become regular and daily instead of ground flights."
    Mohsen explained that "the air transport agreement between the two countries was discussed in preparation for the final signing by the Minister of Transport, Mr. Kazem Fangan Al-Hamami in the near future."
