Sumer News: As the "World War III" headlines a large number of newspapers, The Guardian newspaper published seven British scenarios for the next disastrous war, and what will happen if the tension between the United States and North Korea continues.

The report began by noting that US President Donald Trump warned Korea and vowed "fire and anger" and Korean leader Kim Jong-un threatened to attack the island of Guam.

    Here are the highlights:

    Preventive war

In recent days, national security adviser Herbert Raymond McMaster has raised the prospect of preventive war. The idea would be to strike a surprise blow at North Korea's military infrastructure, which would greatly limit its ability to confront US states and could lead to a coup or revolution.

But this possibility carries many drawbacks. The Korean regime has hidden missiles all over the country, and any preemptive strike will not lead to Kim's disarmament and will result in the deaths of a large number of civilians.

    Forced containment

In this context, there is a theory that the United States and its allies were easily dealing with Pyongyang, leaving Korea's military provocations unpunished. Appropriate use of force may include sending punitive messages to Korea, but below the level of total war and as a preemptive strike only. Any nuclear test or ballistic missile will be answered by detonating test sites.

The biggest problem is that there is no guarantee that Pyongyang will distinguish between limited strikes and all-out war. If a strike breaks out and the fighting begins, it is difficult to stop the escalation once, leading to horrific dangers for the option of war.

    decapitation

The attempt to kill the North Korean leader is part of the US war plan with South Korea and may be carried out by a specially trained battalion. But Kim has the best guard in the world, and no guarantee that anyone is worse or better will take his place.

    Increased economic pressure

North Korea is the most economically isolated country in the world, especially after the recent UN sanctions. Increased pressure will not affect them.

    Return to formal negotiations

The Korean regime has no desire to return to the six-party talks reached during the administration of former US President Barack Obama. Washington said it could negotiate on condition that Pyongyang stopped missile tests and that one of the main goals of the talks was Korea's agreement to cancel the nuclear weapons program, which North Korea did not accept.

    Freezing

Russia and China support a proposal that Pyongyang stop its tests In return, South Korea, the United States and its allies stopped military exercises.
