Turkey invites its citizens to intensify their visits to Jerusalem

Turkish Airlines has announced a reduction in ticket prices to Jerusalem to encourage Turkish citizens to travel to the Holy City.

Bilal Ikshi, Director General of Turkish Airlines, said in a tweet on Twitter that ticket prices from the Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in the Asian section of Istanbul to Jerusalem are only $ 159 for the two-way trip.

A number of Turkish officials, including President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, have called for intensified visits to Jerusalem and the Holy Haram, against the backdrop of recent Israeli violations in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

As a result, many Turks visited Jerusalem, while many social networking sites demanded a reduction in ticket prices and launched a campaign calling for Turkish Airways to reduce Jerusalem flights.
