    Saudi Arabia's Hajj and Umrah minister Mohammed Benten said on Saturday that the kingdom refuses to politicize the pilgrimage, whatever the case may be.
    Mohammed Benten added that the ministry has eliminated the phantom campaigns, stressing readiness to serve more than 2 million pilgrims this year.
    The Saudi minister said that the Kingdom has ridiculed and harnessed its full potential to serve the pilgrims.
    He explained in a press statement after inspecting the Office of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah that the directives of the leadership and all ministries and sectors involved in the service of pilgrims, is to provide the highest degrees of comfort and security for all pilgrims without exception, including the pilgrims of Iran and Qatar.
    The Minister of Hajj conducted an inspection tour of the 2 nd Al-Doura Complex and briefed on the progress of the work and the services provided to the pilgrims. He then launched the field e-development program.
    He also inspected the reception station of the pilgrims by migration and its service offices, as well as inspected the headquarters of the National Foundation for the witnesses and briefed on the operational plan for the reception of pilgrims in detail, and launched the first issue of the electronic newsletter of the Foundation.
