The Iraqi National Congress, on Monday, that Iraq must take a decent place in the Arab environment, calling on political leaders to adopt the logic of the State in dealing with the outside.
"Regional conditions in the region and the achievements made at home require Iraq to play an influential role and to take a decent place, especially in its Arab environment," said Mohammed al-Moussawi, a spokesman for the conference.
Al-Moussawi added that "the mutual openness between Iraq and its neighbors necessitates the general political leadership to adopt the logic of the state in dealing with the leaders of friendly countries away from any narrow interests of the category, the causes of isolation that was suffered by Iraq at some time, no longer exist."
He explained that "the National Conference welcomes any visits or initiatives that would enhance the role of Iraq and consolidate its position among the other countries."
