The Council of Representatives is questioning during its meeting on Thursday the Minister of Agriculture Falah Hassan Zidan on the grounds of suspicions of financial corruption in the purchase of fertilizers and agricultural supplies.
A statement issued by the House of Representatives, the schedule of the meeting tomorrow will be as follows:
First: Reading verses from the Holy Quran.
Second: Complete the vote on the draft law on the elections of provincial and district councils (Legal Committee, Committee of Regions and Governorates in the province). (Remaining 2 items).
Third: The vote on the proposed law of the amendment of the twentieth law of the owners No. 25 for the year 1960 amended (Committee on Higher Education and Scientific Research). (3 articles).
Fourth: Vote on a formula regarding the return of displaced people in western Nineveh. (Legal Committee).
Fifth: Vote in principle on the draft health insurance law. (Health and Environment Committee, Labor and Social Affairs Committee).
Sixth: Consideration of the appeals filed on the validity of the membership of some of the deputies.
Seventh: Questioning the Minister of Agriculture. (MP Zeinab al-Tai).
Eighth: First reading of the proposed law of the first amendment to the law of the Ministry of Electricity No. (53) for the year 2017. (Committee on oil, energy and natural resources). (2 articles).
