BAGHDAD, Aug 18 (Reuters) - A spokesman for the Popular Popular Front, Ahmad al-Asadi, said on Friday he had not asked Sadr's leader Moqtada al-Sadr to explain the reasons for his recent visit to Saudi Arabia.
Al-Asadi said in a statement: "I did not ask Sayyed (Moqtada al-Sadr) to explain the reasons for the visit to Saudi Arabia. This is not our responsibility at all, but I answered a question about the inconvenience of some of the Sayyed's visit. Because it does not have enough data, there is nothing wrong with further clarification of the visit to raise this concern. "
He added that "the introduction of the program said: Who are these parties, I replied: that the Sayyed know them, there is no reason to further clarify to dispel this concern, because I think that Mr. person need to open up to Iraq, Iraq invested this need for the benefit of Iraq.
