United Nations: Yemen is experiencing the world's largest humanitarian crisis

Yemen's humanitarian coordinator, Jamie McGoldrick, told the media from Sanaa that "20 million Yemenis need urgent assistance, including food, medicine and other health supplies.
The United Nations, which said today that the ongoing conflict in Yemen resulted in the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, has confirmed earlier received funding for the implementation of a humanitarian relief plan through which to provide assistance to about 12 million Yemen, where the United Nations seeks through its plan to provide assistance from In order to save the lives of about 10 million Yemenis in dire need of this out of 20.7 million in Yemen need to receive urgent humanitarian aid, according to the statistics of the United Nations.
For its part, the UN Security Council announced its intention to hold a special session on Friday to discuss the deteriorating humanitarian and political situation in Yemen.
