Kim Jong-un is ordering more rocket and warhead engines
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has ordered more missile and warhead engines, North Korea's official news agency reported Wednesday.
The agency said Kim was inspecting the Chemical Institute of the Academy of Defense Sciences, which is developing North Korean missiles. "It gave the institute an order to produce more rocket engines and warheads," she said.
US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Tuesday praised the "level of restraint" shown by North Korea not to conduct any nuclear or missile tests since the imposition of new international sanctions.
"I am pleased to see the Pyongyang regime and have shown a certain level of restraint that we have not seen before," he told a news conference.
Tillerson hoped it would signal Pyongyang's willingness to engage in talks with Washington "in the near future." Sf
