The parliamentary security and defense committee on Wednesday called on the government to unravel the overlapping of the security authorities between the operations leaders and the security forces and put an end to the presidential groups, pointing out that the spread of the presidential regiments in the capital is a violation.

A member of the committee Emad Jokhna said in a statement to Al-Mawloma that "the Dora area is witnessing a great interference in the security authorities, which led to a clear security imbalance." The attack on the Assistant Mayor of Doura in broad daylight is a legal violation.

He added that the Ministry of Defense to hold accountable the perpetrators that the presidential regiments follow in terms of administration, armament and orders ministry, calling on the government to "unify the security efforts and not to disperse the ranks under the names and loyalties of sectarian and national."

The secretariat of Baghdad confirmed on Tuesday that the assistant mayor of Doura Thaer Kazem was killed by the Peshmerga control of the presidential regiment while passing through his wheel without any warnings to shoot directly at him. Ending / 25 d
