Baghdad Mawazine News
Turkish Prime Minister Ben Ali Yildirim said that the referendum on independence in Kurdistan will not create a new war in the region .
"The war between us and the war is between two states and we consider the regional government part of Iraq, " Ben Ali Yildirim told reporters .
"Our position is clear from the referendum, it is a wrong decision and we are with a unified Iraq. The region is full of problems and can not be a surprise ."
The referendum, to be held on September 25, is focused on a survey of the population in the Kurdistan region and disputed areas, whether they wish to independence from Iraq or not .
The Iraqi government rejects the referendum, saying it does not comply with the Constitution of Iraq, which was approved in 2005, and is not in the interest of the Kurds politically, economically and nationally .
Neighboring Turkey refuses to hold this referendum, saying that preserving the territorial integrity of Iraq is linked to establishing security, peace and prosperity in the region .
While America sees the biggest player in the region, the time is not right because of the war against terrorism .
The Kurdish officials insist on holding the referendum process on time, and the President of the region Massoud Barzani, the step of independence will avoid the Kurds and the region of bloody wars .
The head of Turkey's Nationalist Party, Dhalh Behajeh Lee, said the declaration of independence of Kurdistan "could be considered a reason for Ankara to declare war if necessary ." Finished
