Araji praises the role of tribes in defeating terrorism

Interior Minister Qassim al-Araji said that the Iraqi tribes have a large and clear role in supporting our armed forces to eliminate terrorism.
A statement by the ministry's media office, received by al-Sabah, said that "Araji discussed with a number of tribal sheikhs of the Baghdad belt a number of important topics, foremost of which is the security situation in Baghdad and their role in achieving stability."
"The tribes of Iraq have had a big and clear role in supporting our security forces in liberating Iraq from criminal groups," he said, referring to the role of the Iraqi tribes in supporting the security forces in their fight against the terrorist organization.
