The head of the National Business Council, Daoud Abdul Zayer, said Wednesday that the Iraqi private sector is beginning to feel the attention of the government, calling for concerted efforts to build a strong economy through the participation of all private economic institutions and government.
"The private sector plays an important role in the development of the economy and we are beginning to see interest from the government in its various directions and programs to support the Iraqi private sector," Zayer said in an interview with Al-Iktissad News.
Zayer called for "concerted efforts to build a strong economy through the participation of all private and governmental economic institutions and the participation of media that convey the true picture and evaluate the work of projects."
