The Emir of Kuwait, Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, arrived in the United States on an official visit. The Emir of Kuwait is scheduled to meet US President Donald Trump next week to discuss a number of important issues in the region, most notably the crisis in Qatar.
The visit was preceded by talks between Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and US President Trump, who discussed the crisis in Qatar and the countries that boycott it and the need to fight terrorism and extremism and stop funding them.
While Doha continues to reject the 13 demands of the boycotting countries.
