Parliament calls for probe into killing second Iraqi pilot in America

     Baghdad / Range

An Iraqi pilot was killed on Wednesday when an F-16 plane crashed during a training mission in the US state of Arizona in an accident, the second of its kind in two years.
The Iraqi Air Force, in a statement obtained (the range) on a copy of it yesterday, that "with more sorrow and sorrow, the leadership of the Iraqi Air Force mourns the martyrdom of pilot pilot Nur Faleh Rassan Al-Khazali after the crash of his aircraft F16 during a training mission in the United States mandate Arizona this morning (yesterday) the timing of Iraq. "
"The Air Force Command expressed its deep sorrow over the loss of this hero, who was one of the finest pilots of the F16 aircraft, who completed all stages of training with high superiority and was better than Iraq, in terms of commitment and high morals and discipline." In a related context, the Minister of Defense Irfan Hayali open a joint investigation into the incident of the killing of the Iraqi pilot.
The speaker of the House of Representatives Hamam Hamoudi, the parliamentary security and defense committee, also asked to investigate the repeated crash of the F16 aircraft, led by Iraqi pilots in the United States, and called on the committee to coordinate with the Ministry of Defense on the matter.
He said Hammoudi, in a press statement received (range) yesterday that the "incident of the martyrdom of the pilot Nour al - Khazali is the second after the martyrdom of Brigadier Monitor Mohammed two in training missions in America , " stressing
" the need to speed up the detection causes the recurrence of such incidents and how they do not recur in the future , including Ensure the safety of pilots and the preservation of Iraqi competencies. "
In the same context, the head of the Committee on Security and Defense parliamentary governor Zamili, surprised by the incident of the fall of a second plane type f16 contracted by Iraq with the United States and the death of pilot, the rank of pilot, during an aerial training flight.
"The training has reached the final stages of the air combat phase and this pilot is one of the best pilots in Iraq, and the recurrence of this situation is surprising, preceded by the martyrdom of Brigadier General Rashid in 2015, which reached the final stage "He said.
"The fall of these aircraft in the US air bases, delaying the results of the investigation and the Americans refraining from compensating Iraq for the crashed planes and delaying the results of the investigation is surprising," the head of the parliamentary security committee said.
Al-Zamili called on the commander-in-chief of the armed forces to "form a joint committee of the parliamentary security and defense committee and the defense ministry to find out the real reasons for the recurrence of these incidents, which led to the martyrdom of the best Iraqi pilots."
This is the second incident of its kind, as the Ministry of Defense announced in June 2015, the death of an Iraqi pilot after the crash of the F-16 during a night training trip conducted in Arizona.
In 2011, Iraq contracted Lockheed Martin to supply 36 F-16s. The United States postponed delivery of the first batch under the pretext of the events of June 2014 and the security situation in Balad air base, which was chosen as the landing place for these aircraft.
On July 13, 2015, Iraq received four F-16s, and the number of aircraft received by the Iraqi Ministry of Defense has so far reached 18.
