    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, discussed through a phone call with the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, the bilateral relations and the regional developments.

    A statement by Maliki’s media office cited on Wednesday “A phone call was made between Maliki and Putin during which they discussed the Iraqi-Russian bilateral relations and means of developing them.”

    “Putin stressed his support for Iraq and its stability, the statement added noting “Also, they discussed the regional events and confirmed the need to continue contact between the two countries.”
