(Baghdad: Al Furat News) Interior Minister Qassim al-Araji announced the registration of three cases of harassment only, according to a formal complaint submitted to the ministry, while confirmed the submission of 47 members of the Interior to the judiciary following various charges.
"Harassment is one of the most important and sensitive issues, and the Iraqi people are jealous and more than victims of freedom, but it is the duty of the Authority and the internal authority to carry out its duties in this direction," Araji said in a televised interview with the Euphrates News Agency.
"The Ministry of the Interior has the right to arrest the harasser," he said. "Many girls are harassed and do not file complaints with the police to get rid of the consequences of harassment."
Araji pointed out that a meeting will be held soon, including Najda, community police, intelligence and anti-crime to develop a plan in the areas where it is believed to be harassment, "
