    Information / Baghdad ..
A report published in the New York Post revealed new information about the involvement of the Saudi government in the September 11 attacks, which took place in New York 16 years ago.
The Saudi government has consistently denied responsibility for al Qaeda attacks on hijacked planes that hit the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon outside Washington and a field in Pennsylvania.
Some 2,500 families, more than 20,000 people and various institutions and insurance companies are demanding billions of dollars from Saudi Arabia.
According to the New York Post, the emergence of new evidence in a major case against the Saudi government over terrorist attacks indicates that the Saudi Embassy in Washington has funded "training" on kidnappings by two Saudi officials, reinforcing the claim that Saudi officials and agents have Provided support and guidance to kidnappers and conspirators in terrorist attacks.
The evidence in the complaint, filed on behalf of the families of about 1,400 victims of the attacks, says that two years before the attacks, the Saudi embassy paid two of its citizens living under the cover of students in the United States the costs of traveling from Phoenix to Washington, Searched 'Tags' for.
Prosecutors' lawyers said the court file provided new details showing a "pattern of financial and operational support" to plot official Saudi sources. And that in fact, the Saudi government may have been involved in the preparation of the attacks since the early stages - including the cockpit security test.
"We have long asserted that there is a long-standing relationship between al-Qaeda and the religious components of the Saudi government," said Shawn Carter, a lawyer for the main plaintiffs in the case. "This is further evidence."
The newspaper quoted FBI documents as saying that Saudi students, Mohammed al-Qadayeen and Hamdan al-Shalawi, were in fact members of the "network of Saudi agents in the United States" and participated in the terrorist plot.
The newspaper said they had been trained in al-Qaeda camps in Afghanistan at a time when there were some kidnappers there too. While living in Arizona, they had regular contact with the hijacked Saudi pilot and a senior al-Qaeda commander from Saudi Arabia, now imprisoned in Gaonentamu.
The two judges worked for the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, while Shalawi worked as a "long-time Saudi government official". The two men were "in constant contact" with Saudi officials while in the United States . Ending / 25
