    [ltr]The Turkish General Staff announced the liquidation of more than 1800 elements of the "PKK" in the past 9 months.[/ltr]
    [ltr]During the period between 1 January and 10 September, Turkish forces carried out 562 military operations, including ground and air, supported by reconnaissance aircraft and reconnaissance aircraft, inside and outside the country, the General Staff said in a statement issued in this regard.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The statement said that the campaign killed 159 people from the Turkish side, namely 127 soldiers, 19 government employees and 13 civilians, in addition to the fall of 62 wounded, including 40 civilians and 22 government employees.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Turkish General Staff stressed that the military operations carried out during this period resulted in the deaths of more than 1800 elements of the "PKK" and the destruction of 887 sites fortified for the militants.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Turkish security forces seized more than 1,000 bombs and mines, 1943 pieces of firearms, and more than 630,000 rounds of ammunition.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Turkish authorities have been fighting for decades against the PKK, a terrorist group from Ankara.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The conflict between the two sides resumed in July 2015 after the collapse of the truce in force in the country since March 2013.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Turkish authorities accuse the Kurdish armed organization of killing more than 1,200 security men and civilians in the country since this period[/ltr]
