The Slovak government is preparing to deploy 28 of its troops in Iraq, which were proposed to be sent at the NATO summit in May.
"The military will train Iraqi forces to clear mines and maintain Russian tanks as part of their mission in Iraq," the SPECTER website said.
"Although the information is that 28 soldiers have been sent to Iraq, the proposal has not yet been discussed by the government and the military is still being trained at Lisso facilities in the Banska Bystrica region and the Siro facility in the Trnava region," he said.
The Slovak government had agreed before the NATO summit in Brussels last May on the document, which includes a proposal to deploy troops in Iraq associated with 47 soldiers will leave the country in November 2017. Ending / 25 z
