    [rtl]Trend Press / Agencies[/rtl]
[rtl]Two workers in the field of spark oil in Libya, the field produces about 180 thousand barrels per day, or less by 100 thousand barrels per day from the levels of production recently because of security problems.[/rtl]

[rtl]They added that a facility about 40 km west of the field was closed because of poor security, which hinders the recovery of production after the field was reopened after the lifting of the blockade of a pipeline earlier this month, according to "Reuters."[/rtl]

[rtl]Al Sharara has suffered frequent closures since its reopening in December after a two-year closure. The closures are mainly due to security problems resulting from the activities of armed groups.[/rtl]

[rtl]A partial closure for security reasons in August caused the spark to fall by at least 130,000 barrels a day, according to workers in the field at the time.[/rtl]

[rtl]The production of the spark field is important to revive Libya's oil production, which rose to more than 1 million bpd in late June or more than four times that of last summer.[/rtl]

[rtl]The National Oil Corporation runs the Sharara field in partnership with oil companies Repsol, Total, OMV and Statoil.[/rtl]
