Stratfor Center for American Studies confirmed that Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz's abdication of his son Mohammed bin Salman was no longer in doubt, pointing out that the latter plans to separate the name of the king and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
The center said in a report that "the winds of change have hit Saudi Arabia, and may soon reach the top of the monarchy in the country, and amidst the sweeping economic and political changes taking place throughout the country, there are expectations for further amendments, the most important of which is the impending waiver by the King for The throne, where it is rumored that he plans to do so in the near future in order to pave the way to the throne of the new Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The King pointed out that "the King's decision to step down is not in doubt, but the question is: When does this happen?" He pointed out that "the Saudi Crown Prince tightens his grip on political expression, even with regard to social reform."
"The king's expected abdication of the throne would represent a more visible political change. The throne is the youngest Saudi king for nearly a century, becoming the first king of the third generation of the founder of Saudi Arabia, Al Saud".

It is noteworthy that the American press called the CIA "in the shadows" at the center of Stratfor, as most of the experts of the Center Stratfor are former officers and employees of the US intelligence.
