    Economy News Baghdad:
Iran's Deputy Minister of Electricity, Hosheng Falahtian, announced that the experimental link of the Iran-Iraq power grid will be in mid-November.
"Linking the Iraqi and Iranian networks will play an important role in increasing the volume of electricity exchange between the two countries," Falahtian said.
"Iran is ready to cooperate with the private sector to participate in the reconstruction of Iraq's electricity production, distribution and transmission networks," he said.
He pointed out that "Iran can, in the case of Iraq's request to restore the distribution networks and the transmission of electricity within two years only."
"Fortunately, despite the high consumption of electricity in Iran during the summer of this year, we have been able to fulfill our promises and provide electricity to Iraq," he said.
