Jubouri: We support civil work through «legislation»

Speaker of Parliament Salim al-Jubouri said that civil work is part of the state institutions, which "we seek to support through many laws and regulations."
A statement by the Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives received by Al-Sabah said that al-Jubouri received a delegation of civilians. He said that the delegation reviewed the main problems facing their civil work and the laws relating to the freedom of opinion, expression and civil rights of the Iraqi citizens.
"Civil work is part of the institutions of the state, which we seek to support through many measures and laws that preserve the rights of civilians in accordance with the Iraqi constitution."
"The role of the citizen in building the country is important and necessary during the current stage, and the diagnosis of the imbalance is a duty of all Iraqis," he added, adding that "all state institutions support all segments of society, especially young people who have a strong national spirit.
For their part, the cost of civilian activists «efforts of the Speaker of the House of Representatives and its continued support for the youth sector through the adoption of laws that affect the lives of citizens daily».[/rtl]
