[rtl]China began Sunday to re-determine the maximum speed of the "bullet train" on the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail to 350 kilometers per hour, six years after it was reduced to 300 kilometers per hour.[/rtl]
[rtl]The train, called Fuxing, left the renaissance in China at a high speed from Beijing's southern railway station at 9 am to Shanghai. "The speeding will shorten the flight time between Beijing and Shanghai to 4 hours and 28 minutes.[/rtl]
[rtl]As of today, 14 Fuxing trains between Beijing and Shanghai will operate at a maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour.[/rtl]
[rtl]"These trains are very welcome, so tickets for the day were sold a week ago," said China Railway official Huang Xin.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Beijing-Shanghai high-speed train linking the Chinese capital to the commercial and financial center is one of the busiest trains in the country, carrying more than 100 million passengers a year.[/rtl]
[rtl]China has the world's tallest high-speed rail network with 22,000 kilometers of lines running so far.[/rtl]
