    [ltr]The United States and its NATO allies have launched large-scale military exercises off the coast of Britain to test ways to deal with any possible nuclear attack by North Korea.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The British newspaper "Independent" on Monday that the exercises "massive shield" taking place north-west coast of Scotland with the participation of thousands of military fighters and warships, adding that the allies are training for the first time in the old continent to intercept missiles carrying nuclear warheads.[/ltr]
    [ltr]British Defense Secretary Michael Fallon said the scenario of the exercises was to counter a threat from North Korea and other "rogue states", saying that Britain was still at the forefront of seeking the most effective response to the growing threat.[/ltr]
