Congress calls Google, Facebook and Twitter to testify in the case of Russia
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The US Senate and House of Representatives called on technology giants Google, Facebook and Twitter to testify as part of their investigation into Russia's intervention in the 2016 US presidential election.
The Senate Intelligence Committee said it had summoned the officials of the three companies to appear before a public hearing on November 1.
The committee is investigating whether Russia has used any of these social networks to influence the presidential election won by Donald Trump. Finished
