    Information / Baghdad ..
The Israeli army continues to blockade 16 Palestinian villages northwest of occupied Jerusalem for the third day in a row.
The Israeli army imposed security restrictions on villages northwest of Jerusalem in the wake of a shooting by Palestinian Nimr Mahmoud al-Jamal on Tuesday morning at an Israeli military checkpoint in Jerusalem.
The operation resulted in the deaths of three Israeli soldiers, and wounding a fourth, in addition to the death of the port.
In turn, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants said that the Israeli measures led to the closure of 50 schools in 16 besieged villages, depriving residents of bread, medicine and infant formula.
The Foreign Ministry said in a press statement that the Israeli army had closed the area tightly, separating the neighborhoods from each other with iron gates, earthmounds and military barriers.
The ministry said the measures "constitute a flagrant violation of fundamental human rights principles and international laws and norms, which guaranteed the right to life, the right to study, to learn and to freedom of movement." Ending / 25
