The census of Egypt, Saturday, the presence of 22 thousand Egyptians residing in Iraq, while Saudi Arabia topped the list of Arab countries in their number.
The number of Egyptians 9.5 million citizens living abroad, including 6.2 million Egyptians residing in the Arab countries, or 65.8% of the total number of Egyptians abroad.
The results of Egypt's 2017 census, which took place today in the presence of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, revealed that the number of Egyptians residing in Saudi Arabia is 2.9 million Egyptians, equivalent to 46.9% of the total number of Egyptians in the Arab countries.
Jordan ranked second, with 1.5 million Egyptians, 18.4%, UAE with 765,000, 12.3%, and Kuwait and Sudan at 8% each.
