Trump: The perpetrator of the Las Vegas carnage is mentally ill

President of the United States Donald Trump, Stephen Kraig Padock, the perpetrator of the Las Vegas Massacre, which killed 59 people and wounded 527 others, described him as a sick and mentally ill person.
Trump promised what happened in Las Vegas as "very, very sad" and a tragedy, noting that he was not aware of the extent to which the perpetrator had an association with the "Daash" organization he claimed to be associated with.
He praised the efforts of the police department, pointing out that it "did a wonderful job".
Trump said he would talk about arms legislation later. "We will talk about arms laws over time," Trump said.
The culprit, Steven Craig Baduck, 64, is still unknown, but some interesting details have been revealed, including a rich retired accountant who has long maintained a gun arsenal and was one of the city's casinos.
Badok ended his life with his hands after shooting himself, from a top floor of a hotel overlooking a square where a concert was held. When police broke into his room at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, his grandmother committed suicide before arriving.
