Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ashwaq al-Jaf of the Kurdistani Alliance pointed out that “Hosting the security officials in the parliament should be in front of all MPs rather than inside the walls of the Parliamentary Committees so that everybody would be able to realize the reasons behind the security deterioration.”
MP Jaf mentioned in a statement received by IraqiNews.com Sunday “The first line security leaders should be hosted at the parliament to brief the representatives of the Iraqi People about the reasons behind the repeated failure in eliminating terrorist attacks that take place all over Iraq on daily bases.”
The Parliament committed a mistake during its last meeting with the security officials due to absence of the first line security leaders from the meeting, she added.
Jaf, member of the Human Rights Committee, stressed “The security and lives of the citizens represent a red line should not be trespassed.”
