    [rtl]The US Geological Survey said an earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale struck off Japan's east coast on Friday.[/rtl]

    [rtl]The quake occurred 300 kilometers east of Iwaki city on Honshu Island, at a depth of 77.8 km, the agency said.[/rtl]
