    [rtl]The US economy lost thousands of jobs last month for the first time since 2010, but unemployment fell to a 17-year low.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The US Labor Department announced that the economy lost 33 thousand jobs last September, compared to 169,000 jobs in August.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Analysts had expected the US economy to add 82,000 jobs last month.[/rtl]
    [rtl]On the other hand, the unemployment rate in the United States fell to 4.2% by the end of September, to the lowest level since December 2000, compared to 4.4% in August last.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The US government blamed the loss of jobs on Harvey and Irma and the consequent disruption of business in Texas and Florida."He said.[/rtl]
