    Dhi Qar police command announced that two children were wounded in an exchange of fire in a tribal conflict in the Shatrah district north of Nasiriyah and confirmed the arrest of three people involved in the incident. 
    A statement issued by the police leadership (Al-Mada), a copy of it, that "the two children (ARG) and the age of seven years, and (AHH) ten years were shot in the thigh and leg and were transferred to the hospital" "Noting that" the incident occurred after a tribal dispute in the district of flowers in Shatrah district, 40 km north of the city of Nasiriyah, the center of the province of Dhi Qar " 
    The statement added:" Following the incident, a force raided the whereabouts of the defendants complained of them were arrested three defendants, (HGM), and (JAH), and (AH) with the seizure of the vehicle used for the crime " 
    He stressed the"
    He pointed out that "the police forces imposed a security cordon on the scene and open an investigation and record the statements of witnesses and claimants of personal right." 
    The reasons for the outbreak of armed tribal conflicts are often disputes over water, land division, overpopulation, family disputes, clan quarrels and even among members of one clan, and an animal beyond a field or farm For others to cause an armed conflict among clan members. 
    Observers attributed the reasons for the recurrence of tribal conflicts to the prevalence of tribal tensions and the dominance of customs and traditions underdevelopment, and the spread of various types of weapons from rifles, launchers, mortars and machine guns in rural areas, as well as weak grip of the law and the inability of security forces to reduce and prevent such conflicts.
