    The Turkish ambassador to Iraq, "Fatih Yildiz," that his country decided to limit its oil dealings with the federal government and the Ministry of Oil, indicating that the company "TPAO" Turkish will resume its activity in Mansouriya gas field in Diyala province.

    Yildiz's remarks came during his meeting with Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi, where the latter announced that "Turkey has confirmed limiting its dealings with the federal government and the Ministry of Oil in the oil trade with Iraq and not with the Kurdistan region."

    Al-Luaibi stressed during the meeting the importance of strengthening and expanding the bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey, in a way that enhances the expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

    He pointed out that "bilateral relations will witness a significant development during the coming period, especially in the field of oil and energy," calling for "Turkish companies to participate and invest in the implementation of projects in the oil sector."

    For his part, the Turkish ambassador expressed his country's interest in economic cooperation with Iraq and that he discussed with the Minister of Oil a number of issues and issues of common concern and that the coming days will witness the activation and development of the volume of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
