    A source familiar with the Ministry of Electricity, on Wednesday, the reason for the delay in the salaries of some employees of the ministry and the amount of debt accumulated by the participants of all categories.

    He added that "the reluctance of citizens to pay the bills of electricity consumption has put a heavy burden on the ministry, which is the main source of salaries," noting that "the volume of debt accumulated by the government departments and citizens as subscription bills throughout the country amounted to (2) trillion and (600) ) Million Iraqi dinars. "
