    Information / Baghdad ..
The Parliamentary Legal Committee confirmed on Thursday the completion of the amendment of the law of local elections, except for the agreement on the elections in Kirkuk province, indicating that the parliament will discuss the latest proposals on the province to vote during the next session to end the file of local elections.
"The parliament voted in a serial way on all paragraphs of the amendment of the local elections law and the rest is only one paragraph related to the elections in the province of Kirkuk," said Hassan Turan, a member of the committee.
"The political dispute between the Kurds on the one hand and the Turkomans and the Arabs on the other has hindered the passage of the article on Kirkuk elections," he said.
"The parliament will put all the proposals in the next session to choose a compromise between all parties to end the file of local elections and devote to other laws." Ending / 25
