BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
The US-led coalition announced on Saturday the surrender of about 100 fighters from the Da'ash organization who surrendered in the Syrian city of Raqqa in the past 24 hours.

Coalition spokesman Col. Ryan Dillon said in an e-mail statement that the surrendered fighters had been moved out of the city.

The spokesman said that the coalition is still expected a difficult battle in the coming days in the city.

Dillon expressed his belief that the organization "Daash" will be completely eliminated in the tenderness.
